This is the 6th annual Thobe Group Wireless Town Meeting, a gathering of senior-level Wireless Industry Human Resources professionals to discuss the state of the wireless nation.
Discussion topics in prior meetings have included base pay and incentive plans (sales, non-sales), sales compensation plan design, and administrative details such as vacation, paid time off, on-call pay, flexible work schedules, and differential pay (geographic, language, shift).
Our participant group drives the content of the meeting, which is not limited to compensation discussions but may cover a broad range of Human Resources disciplines.
The registration form includes suggested meeting discussion topics. Based on your responses, we will conduct ad hoc surveys to gather information for presentation at the meeting. Responding to these surveys may require coordination by the participants within their company for survey questions outside their discipline.
The meeting starts with a Dinner Reception on Wednesday, September 23 to allow participants time to become familiar with each other and the attending companies.
Meetings on Thursday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Friday (9 a.m. to noon) include presentations on 2009 survey data, results of the “hot topic” surveys, and other topics brought up by the participants.
Dress is comfortable/casual; jeans and shorts are fine but pantyhose and neckties are forbidden.
